Kimbrough Legal Names Quincy Sterling Chief Operating Officer

Austin, TexasKimbrough Legal, PLLC has named Quincy Sterling as Chief Operating Officer, where he will lead firm operations, strategic planning, and scalable growth in alignment with the firm’s vision and mission.

In this role, Sterling is responsible for translating the firm’s long-term strategy into operational execution, ensuring that systems, people, and processes support exceptional legal service delivery, client experience, and sustainable growth. He will work closely with firm leadership to align business operations with the firm’s legal mission, client service standards, and regulatory obligations.

As Chief Operating Officer, Sterling will oversee operational strategy across legal operations, finance, technology, people, and client experience. His responsibilities include building scalable infrastructure, improving workflow efficiency, and implementing governance, reporting, and performance management frameworks that support both day-to-day execution and long-term firm growth.

Sterling said his focus will center on execution, measurement, and clarity as the firm continues to expand its operations.

“Growth requires structure,” Sterling said. “What gets measured gets improved. My goal is to remove friction, increase visibility, and ensure our teams have the tools, processes, and accountability needed to consistently deliver for our clients.”

Prior to joining Kimbrough Legal, Sterling held senior executive leadership roles in both growth-stage and enterprise organizations. His experience includes scaling revenue from $20 million to $150 million, improving EBITDA performance, and leading cost-optimization initiatives through process redesign, automation, and workforce strategy.

Throughout his career, Sterling has built operational infrastructures from the ground up and guided cross-functional teams through periods of rapid growth and organizational change.
