Washington, DC, District of Columbia – Simeone & Miller is proud to announce that our Fall 2025 Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship will be awarded to Frewwyni Gebrehiwet, who will be attending Southern New Hampshire University. The Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship recognizes students who are committed to using the law as a tool to achieve justice and make a positive impact in the world.

The Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship was established to support students who share this vision and are dedicated to making a positive impact through the law. 

Freweyni Gebrehiwet, a dedicated student pursuing her dreams in the field of human services, submitted an inspiring statement that deeply resonated with our firm. Her commitment to advocating for others and using the law to improve lives is exactly what this scholarship aims to support. The Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship is awarded biannually for the Spring and Fall semesters. Law school and undergraduate students are invited to submit either a video statement (3-5 minutes) or a written statement (800-1000 words) explaining how the law can be used to enhance the lives of others. Students can highlight personal experiences, influential role models, or their vision for the future.
