Charleston, South Carolina – The Steinberg Law Firm recently promoted Attorney Kelly M. Alfreds to Partner. Attorney Alfreds has been with the firm for 17 years, first as a paralegal and then as an attorney. Kelly focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury cases.

Kelly first joined the Steinberg Law Firm first in 2006. She decided to pursue her Juris Doctorate at Charleston School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2014.

Locally, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Summerville Chamber of Commerce and is the chair of the Leadership Dorchester Alumni Council. She also serves on the Board of Directors for The Dorchester Children’s Advocacy Center. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serves abused and neglected children and their families from Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston Counties.

Kelly lives in Summerville with her husband, son, and their French bulldog.
