Lincoln, Nebraska – Nebraska-based law firm Berry Law has been named a 3-Star Employer in the 2024 VETS Indexes Employer Awards today.

The VETS Indexes Employer Awards is a prestigious nationwide award and the most objective and comprehensive evaluation of veteran employers nationwide. A 3-star designation demonstrates a superior level of commitment to the hiring, maintaining, and support of veterans and the military-connected community.

”We have been dedicated to the support of veterans and their families since this firm began over 50 years ago,” Berry Law CEO John S. Berry Jr. said. “We are honored to receive the VETS Indexes Employer Awards recognition as a 3-Star Employer and are dedicated to continuing our mission to bettering the lives of Veterans and servicemembers throughout the country. We credit our growth and success to the many leaders on our team who bring their military experience and drive for excellence to work with them every day.

Berry Law has employed veterans and servicemembers in Nebraska for over 50 years. Berry Law employs veterans and celebrates them, honors them, and fights for them both in the courtroom and outside it.

This year, a record-breaking 344 organizations completed surveys for the reward, 100 more than last year and triple the number from two years ago. Only those who demonstrated the highest devotion to veterans and their families were awarded across levels.

“The diligent efforts of Berry Law to hire, retain, and support veterans and the military-connected community have earned the organization a highly coveted VETS Indexes Employer Award,” said George Altman, president of VETS Indexes.

“Competition for the VETS Indexes Employer Awards was tougher than ever in 2024, as a record number of organizations participated. Even with hundreds of employers in the running, Berry Law demonstrated a strong dedication to veteran employment. Congratulations to Berry Law on this achievement!” Altman said.

Berry Law is honored to receive this award and looks forward to continuing our mission of fighting tirelessly for veterans, their families, and their rights. To learn more about our firm and this prestigious award, please visit our website.
