Nematzadeh PLLC and Cocounsel File Antitrust Class Action Complaint Against Major Tire Manufacturers

 [[{"value":"

New York, New York – Nematzadeh PLLC and cocounsel have announced the filing of an antitrust class action lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, on behalf of Frank Novak, against some of the world’s largest tire manufacturers. The defendants include, without limitation, Continental, Michelin, Nokian Tyres, Goodyear, Pirelli, and Bridgestone. In essence, the class action alleges that these companies colluded to inflate or otherwise stabilize the prices of replacement tires for passenger vehicles sold in the United States.

Plaintiffs allege that these tire companies colluded to exploit market conditions post-COVID-19, leveraging high barriers to entry, market concentration, and inelastic demand to dramatically and unlawfully raise tire prices. It is alleged that this conduct constitutes a per se violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act (15 U.S.C. § 1) and various state antitrust and consumer protection laws.

Nematzadeh PLLC is committed to vigorously pursuing justice on behalf of Frank Novak and the class of similarly situated replacement tire purchasers.
