Miami, FL (Law Firm Newswire) August 02, 2022 – Attorney David W. Lipcon of the Miami Personal Injury Firm Lipcon & Lipcon, has filed a lawsuit on behalf of a customer of the popular drinking establishment, Sweet Liberty Drinks and Supply Company, located in Miami Beach, Florida, for amongst other things, assaulting and beating a customer who was, as the police would later determine, doing nothing wrong.

The lawsuit states that a bouncer, unprovoked, grabbed and punched the customer in the face multiple times, then illegally detained the customer. He was not allowed to leave while other employees called the police, and made false accusations against the customer. While he was wrongfully being held, staff bullied and taunted him. When the police arrived, they investigated the Bar’s allegations against the customer by interviewing witnesses who saw the assault and determined the allegations to be false. The lawsuit further alleges the bouncer who instigated the beating had a long criminal history of violence.
